“Investigate the Strange Ice” is the sub quest of "In the Mountains," World Quest of genshin impact included in version 1.2.
Players have to talk with Iris to start the quest “In the
Mountains”. After talking with Iris player will face the sub quest “Investigate
the strange Ice”. The player will see Iris near the Dragonspine Adventurer Camp,
Which is located near the Dragonspine point.
It is critical for players to understand, however, that they
cannot study the unusual ice in Genshin Impact without the passive enhancements
provided by Scarlet Quartz. Scarlet Quartz is a component that occurs at random
in Genshin Impact and provides extra pyro damage to foes when struck with basic
strikes.
This extra pyro damage bonus is critical while investigating the weird ice in Genshin Impact. Simply demolish Scarlet Quartz with charged blows in Genshin Impact and gather the red orbs to receive the bonus.
