Genshin Impact: Perpetual Mechanical Array Location and Drops

The Perpetual Mechanical Array is a world Boss challenge on Inazuma's Narukami Island. It has the same characteristics as a boss and can transform into many phases during battle. As part of the 2.0 Update, the Perpetual Mechanical Array was released.

Location of Perpetual Mechanical Array: 

The Perpetual Mechanical Array would be found amid the ocean north of Narukami Island, inside the underground ruins.

How to reach the location of the Perpetual Mechanical Array:

1. Use Jinren Island Portal:

The player can reach the boss by entering through a portal on Jinren Island.


 

2. By a Teleport Waypoint close to the boss

A faster route is obtained by completing the Araumi section of Cleansing Defilement, which is unlocked by a Teleport Waypoint close to the boss

 

Rewards:

To claim the boss's rewards, the player must consume 40 Original Resin after defeating the boss.

Skills 

Rocket Strike

Transforms into a rocket that slams down, dealing 110 percent ATK as AoE Physical DMG to the player's position.

Orbital Strike

A reticle concentrates on your current position before striking down, dealing 120 percent ATK as AoE Physical DMG.

 

Cube Move

This maneuver is only used at distant ranges. Transforms into a Cube and rolls at a high rate repeatedly. When it catches up to the player, it unleashes a shockwave on the final roll, dealing AoE Physical DMG worth 90% of the player's ATK.

 

Sword Cutting

This technique is only used at the Melee ranges. Transforms into a massive sword that cuts from right to left, hitting 90% ATK as Physical DMG.

Blade Twist

This technique is only used at the Melee ranges. Transforms into a massive spinning blade that zigzags before cutting Left to Right, delivering 70% ATK as Physical DMG.

 

Energy Blaster

Charges for a short time before launching a beam of pure energy that deals 40% ATK as Physical DoT to anyone who comes into contact with it. The player is followed by the beam.

 

Defensive Mode

In Defensive Mode, the player assumes a defensive position and fires four cubes, which turn into Ruin Sentinels. The Perpetual Mechanical Array will be paralyzed and its base resistances will be reduced by 50% if only one highlighted ruin sentinel is defeated. The Perpetual Mechanical Array will exit Defensive Mode if the highlighted ruin sentinel is not defeated over a long period. Before the boss's first timed Defensive Mode activation, Defensive Mode is always triggered when the boss's HP reaches 30%.
